Shettleworth and Mrs. Philip Willard (Narcissa) with Frank Laing, of Portland, Me., picture framer and gilder, concerning his acquaintance with Portland artists Charles F. Kimball, Harrison B. Brown, George M. Hathaway, George McConnell, John Calvin Stevens, George Frederick Morse, Walter Griffin, Charles Lewis Fox, and Mary King Longfellow. The interview was in preparation for the Portland Museum of Art exhibition entitled "A century of Portland painters, 1820-1920."
